Van, truck and bus braking from Valeo
As the number of vans on UK roads continue to rise, components provider Valeo says it is supporting operators by providing a comprehensive braking systems offering which runs alongside the company’s already extensive braking ranges for trucks and buses.
Valeo’s LCV braking range offers coverage for a broad range of applications.
“Valeo brings the expertise of an aftermarket multi-specialist to each part of the brake system,” said Andy Swann, managing director at Valeo Service UK.
The range includes brake pad sets, brake disc sets, drum brake shoes and a drum brake fast fit kit – as well as brake wheel cylinders, brake master cylinders and brake fluid.
“The Valeo LCV brake range is efficient and delivers all the services a professional expects from a braking specialist,” said Andy.
Truck operators are also served by Valeo, with the company providing brake parts that fit a wide range of vehicles.

The company’s brake offering for trucks includes both pads and discs.
“The whole disc range exceeds ECE-R90 requirements thanks to extensive research and development, including a strict validation process for friction material.”
The range provides wide coverage on major truck applications and includes optiPack brake discs, brake linings, and brake shoe kits.
“This all-in-one kit includes all the necessary pads, accessories, and wear indicators for safe replacement of pads,” said Andy.
On brake pads, Valeo fields 80 part numbers in its premium programme, equating to 98 per cent coverage for European CVs, including most light commercial vehicle applications over 3.5t and most heavy truck and semi-trailer applications as well.
“The friction material is capable of withstanding the most extreme working conditions in order to meet O.E. performance standards,” said Andy.
“Its low organic content and correct dosage mixing prevent premature wear and promote stable friction at all times.”
Buses and coaches are catered for too, again via the optiPack range.
