CV Show 2025 Preview – HHydrOdrive: fuel-saving technology
The 2025 Commercial Vehicle Show will take place from 29 April to 1 May at the NEC Birmingham.

Hydrogenica Ltd will be promoting HHydrOdrive, a patented hydrogen-hybrid fuel and emissions-saving technology.
The system, which can be retrofitted to vehicles within hours, is said to provide 20 per cent fuel and CO2 emissions savings, and to provide return on investment of just seven months in the case of a typical heavy duty vehicle.
“With HHydrOdrive doing so much of your engine’s heavy lifting there’s less wear, less tear with every HHydrOdrive enhanced engine enjoying a longer life,” said the company.
“Taking a vehicle off the road? Not a problem. Simply remove your HHydrOdrive unit and fit it to another.”
The firm is inviting Show-goers to its stand to book a test and see how much they could save.
