Auto accessory giant Ring Automotive is expanding its tyre care portfolio with the launch of its new range of tyre inflators – the Ultrainflate series.

Having created its tyre care range 20 years ago Ring has since fashioned an award-winning and highly respected lineup of over 25 products, says the company, including tyre inflators, gauges and sealant.

Suitable applications for the new Ultrainflate range include 12V light commercial vehicles (LCV), depending on pressure requirements.

The range is split into three products, each offering varying levels of capability and price points.

“All have larger display screens to see the pressure readings, intuitive operation, LED lights and valve cap storage,” said Ring.

“The entry level tyre inflator in this range is the Ultrainflate 10 – designed for simplicity and efficiency. It features a large analogue display and easy to press power and light buttons, an integrated LED light that is perfectly angled on the inflator to maximize visibility during use.

“The ergonomic design ensures it’s easy to handle, while the 3m wind up cable, and built in 12V plug storage, making it quick to pack away neatly. Additionally a 60cm long hose makes it possible to inflate tyres on large wheels.

“Stepping up in features, the Ultrainflate 20 builds on the capabilities of the Ultrainflate10. This model boasts a large digital display and ‘Ringtelligence’ Technology brings a programmable auto-stop function, ensuring precise inflation every time, as well as a ‘Dynamic Display’ with a progress bar on the screen, allowing users to track the inflation process, indicating how much pressure is still required to meet the set target.

“The premium model in the range is the Ultrainflate 30 – designed for speed and ease of use. It is capable of inflating a flat tyre from flat in just two minutes [as tested on a 13” tyre up to 30PSI]. It has a longer wind up cable at 3.5m and a 70cm long hose with a large brass connector for a secure fit.

“It has the same ‘Ringtelligence’ auto stop technology as the Intrainflate 20, as well as the largest digital display screen of the range. It also features the ‘Dynamic display’ progress bar, but instead of plus/minus buttons for setting the target pressure, it has an ‘Easyset’ dial, making it even easier to use.”

Marketing director Henry Bisson added: “Over the last few years, Ring has really concentrated on making its tyre inflator range one of the best in the industry and I think we’ve succeeded, with the Ultrainflate range sure to follow in this vein.

“We’ve done a lot of research on this new range to ensure it includes everything a driver would want from a tyre inflator; it’s easy to use, simple to understand, doesn’t take too much time to inflate and it’s stress free to put back into a storage bag or the box it came in.

“Tyres are the only point of contact a vehicle has with the road and should be looked after a lot more than they are. We have found during our research that people are not checking their tyres enough.

“With this new Ultrainflate range and how quick and easy it makes checking, and inflating tyres, we’re sure motorists will be able to better look after their tyres.”
