Supertracker, the wheel alignment specialist, used the recent Commercial Vehicle Show to unveil its new STR420 T computerised commercial wheel aligner, featuring advanced CCD sensor technology.

The launch comes in direct response to growing market demand, says Supertracker, as fleet operators and workshops seek a straightforward, reliable solution for the wheel alignment of trucks, buses and trailers.

“Cost of fuel and parts continue to rise so efficiency and performance are vital for fleets, logistics companies and public transport providers,” said Andrew Bates, managing director of Supertracker.

“Wheel alignment checks are one way to make sure a fleet remains in the best condition possible. The adage of ‘time is money’ applies in this sector and alignment checks are quick, easy, and can save money in the long run.”

The STR420 T is designed to cover all aspects of adjustability within the modern vehicle chassis, including electric vehicles. Its flexible specification makes it suitable for a wide range of commercial vehicle applications, says Supertracker.

Developed with ease of use in mind, the STR420 T is equipped with user-friendly software and clear graphical help screens, enabling operators to carry out accurate alignments quickly and efficiently.

More information about the STR420 T and Supertracker’s full range of commercial wheel aligners is available at the website.

Supertracker’s other products for the commercial vehicle market include the STR1500 and STRT4.

STR1500 is a two-wheel laser tracking gauge designed for quick checks and small front toe adjustments. It is manufactured in the UK and said to be ideal for beginners and professionals alike.

STRT4 is a UK-manufactured commercial vehicle 4 and 6-wheel laser aligner for single and twin steer vehicles that can also be configured for camber and castor.

“Our investment in green laser technology for our alignment systems addresses the real-world conditions our customers work in daily,” added Andrew Bates.

Supertracker emphasises its extensive aftercare support network, offering routine calibrations, database upgrades, repairs and training. The firm also highlights its UK-wide servicing coverage, investment in staff training and mobile rigs tested to traceable standards.
