Cutting trailer running costs with SAF Connected
SAF-Holland UK says it is helping transport operators to drive down the total cost of trailer ownership with its latest offering, SAF Connected – a comprehensive package combining premium components, extended warranties, and connected maintenance tools designed to reduce downtime and improve operational efficiency.
“At the heart of SAF Connected is the SAF Intradisc, the axle and suspension system that is trusted by millions of users and that has been proven on Europe’s roads for more than two decades,” said the firm.

This is matched by a six-year warranty on the Haldex EB+ 4.0 electronic braking system, SAF-Holland adds, reinforcing the company’s confidence in disc brake performance and reliability over time.
Completing the offer is the Axscend EBPMS (Electronic Brake Performance Monitoring System) which is included free of charge as part of the SAF Connected package. In addition, operators receive a free subscription to Axscend’s digital maintenance planner, allowing fleets to take a more data-driven approach to managing brake and axle servicing.
SAF Connected is now available across the UK and Northern Ireland. It has been designed specifically to tackle one of the industry’s biggest challenges, says SAF-Holland: controlling whole-life trailer costs.
