Tachographs remain central to transport compliance, and for years operators have been using Convey’s web-based system to turn tachograph data into something more useful than record-keeping.

The change also encouraged drivers to engage more with their own performance, reduced infringements, and made audits smoother.

Tachograph analysis offers more than just a record of hours and rest breaks, says Convey; used well, it helps managers plan workloads, prepare for audits and spot trends early. Patterns such as repeat infringements, missing mileage or changes in driving behaviour stand out in the data, giving operators the chance to intervene before small issues grow into bigger risks.
