British LED lighting manufacturer Lazer Lamps Ltd has expanded its offering of lamps fitted with integrated beacon functions.

“These lamps all have their own unique offering and combine Lazer’s signature market leading high beam lighting performance with integrated beacon / strobe warning light functionality, providing professional drivers and fleet operators with enhanced safety, visibility and road legal compliance, all in one streamlined package,” said Lazer Lamps.

Launched in late 2024, the Air product range from Lazer has been increasingly popular within the truck sector, the company says, although they are suitable for a variety of applications.

“The Air-55 and Air-90 Beacon are the latest exciting additions to the range. Combining exceptional lighting performance with integrated UNECE-approved beacon functionality, the new variants offer a complete solution for anyone needing powerful lighting and enhanced visibility in safety-critical environments.

“Both the Air-55 and Air-90 boast a distinctive look and robust construction, highlighted by Lazer’s innovative monocoque polycarbonate lens, which flows seamlessly under the lamp and features a textured underside. The lens is backed by a lifetime guarantee and finished with a hard coat lacquer, an upstream manufacturing step Lazer handles in-house to maintain full control over quality.

“Each lamp also includes a ‘Centre Mount’ bracket system, enabling a lower mounting profile for a cleaner install – particularly important in today’s modern, stylised truck designs.”

The Air-90 Beacon offers lighting performance comparable to Lazer’s market-leading Triple-R 1000 Beacon product, says the company, but with an alternative aesthetic appeal.

“With 9,160 raw lumens and 1 lux to 574m, the light delivers serious output for everyday road use. The beam pattern has been engineered for optimised vertical distribution, ensuring excellent visibility from higher mounting points, typical on trucks and larger vehicles.

“The Air-55 Beacon on the other hand offers exceptional value for money, considering the still impressive high beam lighting performance and beacon functionality, delivering 6,800 raw lumens and 1 lux to 400m.

“Both lamps are UNECE Reg 149 approved as high beam driving lights, thanks to dual-output E-Boost tech, which allows fast dimming (flash-to-dim) or fixed output modes. The built-in beacon is Reg 65-approved with two selectable flash patterns that can sync across units and switch on demand.

“Other standout features include Dynamic start-up mode with fade-in or colour cycle, IP68 watertight certification and a comprehensive five-year warranty.”

Also available from Lazer Lamps is the new Utility-50 work light.

“Safe night operations demand more than just forward facing driving lights; clear, powerful illumination along the sides and rear of the trailer is critical,” said Lazer Lamps.

“The Utility-50 is a compact and versatile work light designed to excel in a wide range of recreational, commercial and/or industrial applications. Designed, engineered and manufactured in the UK, the Utility-50 combines exceptional durability, style, and high-performance illumination.

“The Utility-50 delivers outstanding illumination through four high-performance 13W LEDs, providing bright and consistent light suitable for a wide range of vehicles and machinery. With a carefully calibrated 5000K color temperature, the light output ensures comfortable use over extended periods.

“The lamp’s high CRI (color rendering index) enhances sharpness and color differentiation, improving both safety and efficiency, making the Utility-50 a powerful tool for operators during complex tasks requiring precision.”

A standout feature of the Utility-50 is its integrated versatility and functionality, says the company.

“An available version includes a red tail-light function, with distinctive corner markers that enhance safety while adding a unique, stylish appearance. An optional beacon function offers additional functionality, making the Utility-50 a highly adaptable lighting solution.

“The compact design of the Utility-50, sharing front-on dimensions with Lazer’s larger Utility-80 HD (107mm x 107mm), ensures compatibility with a wide range of vehicles and machines. Its reduced depth simplifies installation without compromising performance.

“The lamp’s precision engineering optimises thermal conductivity, preserving the lamp’s longevity and ensuring reliable operation over many years.

“This robust construction is further supported by features such as an unbreakable polycarbonate lens with a hard coat finish, advanced EMC protection (CISPR:25 Class 3), and automotive-grade corrosion resistance achieved through Lazer’s in-house pre-treatment and powder coating processes. The lamp is IP68 and IP69K certified, offering exceptional protection against dust, water, and high-pressure environments.”

Ben Russell-Smith, founder and managing director of Lazer Lamps, commented: “With the Utility-50, we’ve expanded our range of work lights to include solutions with power ratings of 25W, 45W, 50W, and 80W, ensuring there’s a product for almost any application.”
