Leadership transition at Fischer Panda UK | Power Solutions
Vehicle onboard power and climate control specialist Fischer Panda UK | Power Solutions has announced strategic management changes as the company enters a new phase.
Founder and long-serving managing director Barry Fower is passing the baton to his son, Chris Fower, who becomes the new managing director effective from January 2026.
Since founding the company in 1994, Barry has grown the business steadily through word-of-mouth, establishing a reputation for technical expertise and reliable customer service: principles that remain at the heart of the company today. Barry continues to be an integral part of the business in his new role as chief executive officer, providing guidance across all three industries while remaining the driving force behind specialist projects and defence applications.
Chris joined the business in 2014 in a business development role. Drawing on his prior experience and a deep familiarity with the company, he quickly established himself in the role and proactively pursued ways to drive growth. Among his achievements, Chris led the implementation of the company’s current CRM system, developed various marketing channels, including the launch of a new company website, and strengthened customer relationships across marine and specialist vehicle sectors.

Due to accelerated growth over the past few years, the business has welcomed new specialists, enhancing its expertise and raising the total headcount to over 20.
Responsible for the commercial side of the business, Louise Sims has been promoted to the new commercial director. Over the past four years Louise has been supporting the team as a commercial manager, together with overseeing all internal operations and driving ISO 9001:2015 compliance.
In parallel, to strengthen the sales leadership, Ian Saunders has been promoted to sales director. Having led the specialist vehicle sales division for the past four years, Ian brings extensive sector knowledge and established customer relationships.

The existing operational structure remains unchanged, says the firm, ensuring customers continue to receive the same level of service, technical support and responsiveness throughout this transition and beyond.

“Looking forward, the company aims to continue to expand into sub-niche markets in the marine sector and specialist vehicle industry, while maintaining its core values of technical excellence, reliability, and customer service.”
Fischer Panda UK | Power Solutions represents a portfolio of premium brands, including Fischer Panda diesel generators and electric propulsion systems, sustainable power solutions from Clayton Power, Integrel Solutions, superwind wind turbines, and EFOY fuel cell systems.
The company is the exclusive UK automotive distributor for Mastervolt power electronics, Autoclima climate control and refrigeration, and also provides climate solutions from Eberspächer and Dometic. Additional offerings include Parker water makers and British-made Wananchi water purification systems.
