Spring debut for RTX Northern Ireland
The team behind the established Road Transport Expo has announced a spring launch date for RTX Northern Ireland, which it says will be a must-attend event for HGV fleet operators in the province.
The event, which will be held on 15-16 April 2026 at the Eikon Exhibition Centre in Lisburn, will bring together industry representatives across extensive indoor and outdoor exhibition spaces.
With an ‘all about the truck’ focus, RTX Northern Ireland is designed to be a one-stop shop for everything fleet-related, organisers say, with a growing number of leading vehicle manufacturers and suppliers already having confirmed their attendance.
OEMs set to showcase their latest vehicles, trailers and innovations include DAF, Fruehauf, Mercedes-Benz, MAN, Renault Trucks, Thermo King, Thompsons UK and Volvo.
Fleets will also get the chance to sample the latest technology, tyres and equipment from a variety of suppliers and dealerships. Exhibitors will include Assured Performance Ireland, Brigade Electronics, Fastview360, Flowtech Ireland, Granco Trucks and Hankook Tyres, and show bosses expect many more to confirm attendance in the coming weeks.
Visitors will also be able to benefit from the Knowledge Zone, a two-day programme of expert sessions covering key industry topics to provide insight and guidance for fleet decision-makers – including compliance, skills and driver shortages, road safety and decarbonisation.
Appropriately licensed show-goers will also have an opportunity to test-drive a selection of new vehicles on site, via a Ride & Drive Experience – while the event will also offer fleet operators a relaxed networking environment in which to connect with industry peers and build new business relationships.
“We are very much looking forward to bringing the popular RTX format to Northern Ireland this spring and have been delighted with the industry support we’ve received,” said Vic Bunby, show director of RTX Northern Ireland.
“As with all our RTX events, the show will provide an excellent mix of quality exhibitors, knowledgeable conference sessions and a relaxed networking environment.”
He added: “We can’t wait to welcome visitors in April, so please do register for your free ticket to join us.”
The RTX portfolio – which includes the established annual event in Warwickshire and RTX Scotland, which debuted last year in Glasgow – will continue to expand in 2027 with the launch of a Dublin-based RTX Ireland event.
Meanwhile, those wishing to attend RTX Northern Ireland can register for free via the RTX website.
