Heavy-duty lifting expertise from SEFAC
SEFAC engineers a range of mobile column lifts for the heavy-duty vehicle maintenance sector, which it says can support the full spectrum of workshop operations while maintaining uncompromising safety standards.

Serviceability is engineered into every SEFAC product, says the firm.
“Most maintenance tasks can be completed directly at the customer’s site, eliminating transport costs and minimising downtime. Even critical procedures – such as safety‑nut replacement – can be completed in under 30 minutes, helping workshops maintain productivity and keep vehicles operational.”
Its mobile columns are said to be among the lightest on the market, improving manoeuvrability and visibility in busy workshop environments. Each column features an integral pump truck and a deadman’s handle to ensure safe, controlled positioning.
For further operational safety, the cabled PME 8.2t lifts use an irreversible screw and bronze‑nut system that prevents unintended lowering, says SEFAC, ensuring the load remains securely held at all times.
Meanwhile, the wireless SW2 7.5t lifts employ a mechanical ball‑screw mechanism that reduces power consumption and wear, supported by a ratchet locking system that provides an additional layer of protection and delivers ±6 mm levelling correction.
Specialised lifting variants offer ±2 mm correction for rigid lifting applications, said to be ideal for agricultural machinery, construction vehicles, and forklifts.
A range of heavy-duty ancillary equipment such as stands & trestles (6-15t), 60t king pin presses and trailer beams is also available.
