Jacking solutions from Majorlift
Majorlift has been manufacturing hydraulic lifting equipment for 37 years, designed especially for the truck, bus and garage sectors.
The company offers a range of equipment to enable garages to perform MOT tests, including jacking beams.
“This product is designed to lift 2 tonnes or 2.8 tonnes to comply with MOT regulations. Also in the range is a pit jack specially designed to fit on commercial lifts, including those with extendable platforms.”
Majorlift additionally produces a special double extending top beam to fit over the ram heads of a pit jack, enabling vans and some cars to be worked on and tested.
Its range also includes a transmission jack, designed to lift 2 tonnes and available in manual or air operation.
“This enables safe and easy removal of gearboxes etc by one operative, and with the heavy duty wheels makes movement around the workshop safer,” said Majorlift.
95 per cent of all components are manufactured in-house at Majorlift’s production unit in South Gloucestershire. Quality is assured by ISO 9001:2015 standard and conformance to Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC, says the firm, and it offers a five-year warranty on almost all products.
