Bevan offers next-day bodies from JPM
A quick turnaround is promised for lightweight tipper and bodywork fitment from Bevan Group, thanks to a tie-up with French manufacturer JPM.
Bevan Group says it can install JPM bodies on delivered chassis on a next-day collection basis, providing it has at least six-weeks’ notice of the chassis arrival at its factories in the West Midlands and Merseyside. The notice period will reduce as in-stock body numbers rise.
JPM Group claims clear market leadership in France, and is Europe’s number one manufacturer of aluminium dropsiders and tippers for commercial vehicles up to 7,500kg, having pioneered use of the lightweight material since 2010.
Headquartered in Naucelle, in the south of the country, it produced some 10,000 bodies last year. Its bodywork is a factory-fit option for chassis manufacturers including Renault, Renault Trucks, and Stellantis.
The JPM range can be tailored to suit various applications, including landscaping and gardening, arboreal services, carpentry, building and civil engineering. The line-up includes dropsiders and rear-end tippers in aluminium or steel, and three-way tipping bodies in aluminium for vehicles from 3.5-tonnes gvw up.
Options include everything from door configurations and load securing solutions such as nets, lashing rings and stops, to lockable storage boxes and vehicle access aids including folding ladders and handles, as well as tool holders and cone carriers.
Bevan is already working on its first order, which is for 164 all-aluminium rear-end and three-way tipping bodies. These are being fitted to 3.5-tonne Nissan chassis for local authorities in Scotland.
