Sailun to launch Tour Pro Z all-position coach tyre in UK
Sailun is preparing to introduce its new Tour Pro Z to the UK, expanding its truck and bus portfolio with a dedicated all-position coach tyre.
As the first product of its kind in the Sailun range, Tour Pro Z marks an important addition to the company’s growing TBR portfolio, says the brand.
“Developed for coach operators, it has been designed to address the areas that matter most in everyday service: safety, fuel efficiency, ride comfort and overall operating value,” said Sailun.
“Built with EcoPoint³ technology, Tour Pro Z reflects Sailun’s broader Smart Performance development direction, combining advanced compound and pattern design to support lower rolling resistance, dependable control and reduced road noise. The result is a new all-position coach offer aimed at fleets looking to balance wet-weather safety, efficiency and comfort in day-to-day operation.
“A key part of the Tour Pro Z story is safety and reliability. The tyre carries an A rating for wet grip, while its optimised profile design is intended to support prolonged safe driving and stable handling in everyday operating conditions. At the same time, its long-distance compound and pattern design have been developed to reduce rolling resistance, helping improve fuel efficiency and lower running costs, while an optimised pitch sequence contributes to lower road noise and a smoother ride.”
Planned for official release at the end of June, Tour Pro Z will be available in size 295/80R22.5, with a 154/150 load index and M speed symbol. EU label values are B for fuel efficiency, A for wet grip and A-rated external noise at 70 dB, while the tyre also carries both M+S and 3PMSF markings.
The arrival of Tour Pro Z also represents a broader step forward for Sailun’s truck and bus range, says the tyre maker: by adding a dedicated all-position coach product rather than evolving an earlier generation, Sailun is strengthening its ability to serve passenger transport fleets with a tyre developed specifically for this segment and its operating demands.
