Renault Trucks reveals RTX lineup
Renault Trucks has unveiled the lineup of diesel and electric vehicles it is set to exhibit at this year’s Road Transport Expo, taking place 30 June – 2 July at NAEC Stoneleigh.
Taking centre stage on Stand B3 will be vehicles from the manufacturer’s Model Year 2026 range, including a T-High 480 Customised, a T480 6×2 and a C440 8×4 Tipper, alongside a Renault Trucks Magnum celebrating the company’s heritage.
Visitors will be able to explore the latest developments in Renault Trucks’ heavy-duty range, experience electric mobility first hand through the Ride and Drive programme and meet experts offering guidance on fleet efficiency and decarbonisation strategies.
Aymeric Larcher, managing director of Renault Trucks UK and Ireland, will be appearing on the Talking Point stage in Hall 3 from 1:15pm-1:35pm offering insights on the future direction of truck development.
“The head-turning Renault Trucks T High 480 6×2 Turbo Compound tractor unit finished in a striking red metallic paint, takes centre stage on the stand,” said the manufacturer.
“With a camera-based driver behaviour warning system and lane departure warning system with course correction, the T High has safety built in as standard. Renault Trucks Optifleet is also available providing operators with valuable data including fuel consumption, route analysis, and driver behaviour to improve efficiency.
“The Renault Trucks T 480 6×2 Pusher 13L E6, is equipped with a DE13 engine for optimum performance. With a 4-star NCAP rating, it is a shining example of Renault Trucks’ commitment to safety.
“Rounding off the set of the Model Year 2026 vehicles is the Renault Trucks C 440 8×4 Off Road 13L tipper with a Loadmaster Lite body and Edbro CX15 tipping gear. With a reinforced chassis and off-road suspension, the vehicle is designed for tough construction applications and heavy haulage, with safety and comfort in mind. Traditional mirrors are replaced with cameras improving visibility making it ideal for busy work sites.”
Renault Trucks will also take visitors on a trip down memory lane with the Renault Trucks AE 380.19 TD Magnum 4×2.
“The iconic Magnum revolutionised driver comfort when it was launched, becoming the first production truck with a completely flat floor and walk-around interior, setting new standards for driver comfort. The refurbished Magnum on display has an Ergovision instrument panel with ergonomically positioned controls and a Commandair driver and passenger seat. The Magnum transformed the truck market when it arrived on the scene and Renault Trucks is proud to celebrate this landmark vehicle and its heritage on stand B3.”
Visitors to stand B3 can also see the fully electric Renault Trucks E-Tech T 4×2.
“Showcasing the real-world capabilities of electric trucks already on the roads today, the E-Tech T is powered by six 90kWh batteries and three electric motors. It offers a range of up to 300km on a full charge and up to 500km with an intermediate fast charge (250kW) of one hour. Designed for driver comfort inside and out, the E-Tech T’s cab features a host of optional extras, including 4-point air suspension with ride-height control system, as well as heated ‘Comfort’ driver’s seat and ultimate leather steering wheel.
“Leading the way in the event’s Ride and Drive programme, the E-Tech T 4×2 will be available for supervised demonstrator drives, giving visitors the chance to experience first-hand the vehicle’s smooth, quiet operation and driver-focused comfort. As electric trucks continue to demonstrate their effectiveness in real-world applications, the Ride and Drive offers operators a valuable opportunity to evaluate the E-Tech T in action. Renault Trucks’ expert team will also be on hand throughout the event to provide practical guidance on fleet decarbonisation and support businesses in developing effective low-carbon transport strategies.”
Further vehicles on display will include the Renault Trucks Master Red Edition Exclusive L3H2 van, finished in the launch silver blue metallic paint with colour coded bumpers. The Master features a 4-cylinder engine with a 9-speed automatic gearbox.
