Lazer Lamps unveils new Sentinel Elite+ driving lights
British manufacturer Lazer Lamps has announced the launch of its new Sentinel 7” and 9” Elite+ models, the latest evolution of the company’s flagship round LED driving lights.
“Combining distinctive, high-end product design with the exceptional performance and build quality synonymous with the Lazer Lamps name, the new models feature Lazer’s Elite+ technology, representing the company’s highest-performance LED lighting solutions,” said the company.
“Supplemental yellow LEDs work alongside Sentinel’s proven white high-beam output to deliver enhanced light distribution and greater functionality. The yellow LEDs can be blended with the white beam to create a softer, more comfortable colour temperature for night driving, or operated independently, directing light downwards and to the sides for enhanced visibility in snow, fog and dust.”
Available in 7” and 9” variants, Sentinel Elite+ offers four lighting modes. Drivers can move between each mode using a momentary switch, allowing the light output to be adapted quickly as driving conditions change: Low Output / E-Mark Mode (White Light); High Beam Mode (White Light); Combo Mode (White & Yellow Light); and Snow-Fog-Dust Mode (Yellow Light).

The Sentinel 9” Elite+ stands as the most powerful Sentinel product Lazer Lamps has produced to date, says the firm.
“Operating in Combo Mode, each lamp emits 29,500 raw lumens, with a single lamp delivering 1 lux at more than 1,000 metres. With a 300W power consumption in Combo Mode, the 9” Elite+ combines substantial output and long-range illumination with the flexibility of multiple lighting modes. This balance of distance and power, combined with the functionality of the different lighting modes, makes the Sentinel 9” Elite+ the ultimate all-terrain, all-weather powerhouse, suitable for multiple applications from 4×4 and LCV to the heavy truck sector.
“The Sentinel 9” Elite+ also introduces both an amber and white position light feature, a Dynamic start-up / Welcome Mode and a new Transition Assist function. Activated by pressing and holding the momentary switch, Transition Assist immediately lowers the beam angle and reduces its intensity while increasing the lateral spread of light. This allows enhanced visibility to be retained as approaching traffic enters the driver’s field of view, before the high beam needs to be fully disabled.
“The Sentinel 7” Elite+ is primarily aimed at the LCV and 4×4 market, delivering the same core Elite+ functionality in a more compact format. In Boost Mode, its white LEDs produce 11,214 raw lumens. Switching to Combo Mode brings the white and yellow LEDs together to deliver 14,859 raw lumens, with total power consumption of 145W.”
Features include ultra-reflective vacuum-metallised optics, an electronic thermal management system, CAE-optimised heatsinks, diecast aluminium mounting brackets and hard-coated polycarbonate lenses. The lamps are IP68 rated, UNECE approved and backed by a five-year warranty.
