Autoglym launches traffic film remover for truck operators

Credit: Professional Images/@ProfImagesVehicle care specialist Autoglym has announced the launch of a new Professional detergent range, as part of a renewed focus on trade customers.

The new Autoglym Professional Heavy Duty Traffic Film Remover (TFR) rapidly removes dirt and grease, which the company says makes it ideal for use in the logistics and haulage sectors, as well as a co-polymer remover for the import and distribution markets.

The TFR is designed specifically for the haulage market for use on chassis, engines, wheels and curtain sides. A Super Strength version of Heavy Duty TFR is also available to provide an even more powerful clean, while the Citrus Mix fragrance means it is pleasant to use, Autoglym adds.

The product is said to rapidly and effectively remove road grime, and can be used on most exterior surfaces, including to remove the most stubborn of oil and grease deposits.

Autoglym has also refreshed its Multiwash formulation, the safest multi-purpose detergent in the range, with a Lime and Peppermint fragrance and Clean All, its strongest multi-purpose detergent, with a Green Zest fragrance.

The Autoglym Professional Detergent range also includes a new Advanced Traffic Film Remover (TFR), which combines high foam, an easy rinse and outstanding cleaning power to provide the ultimate clean. It is safe to use on most surfaces and features glossing agents to add shine and brightness to bodywork, the company says.

Autoglym’s range of new detergents is already in use with the Motorbase Performance BTCC team, providing the ultimate clean to its diverse fleet of vehicles, including the use of Heavy Duty TFR on its race trucks and Advanced TFR on its BTCC racing cars, executive saloons and minibus.

Paul Caller, CEO of Autoglym, said: “Our trade customers rely on Autoglym detergents for fast, effective and high-performance cleaning. The new Autoglym Professional products will continue to meet the specific requirements of our professional users.”
