Compliance in focus with CheckedSafe
Vehicle compliance platform CheckedSafe says it can offer its clients a complete solution, enabling them to manage and protect workforces, comply with regulatory requirements and cut expenditure.
“Using our system properly you will have a legally defensible product, providing a full fleet management system at minimum cost,” said the company.
The system enables unlimited daily digital checks with various controls, and bespoke templates for any piece of kit including plant equipment and non-fleet checks.
Features include a full maintenance solution allowing for the scheduling of activity such as PMIs, roller brake tests and LOLER checks. The system enables checks to be completed digitally or if preferred, through the upload of manual PMI sheets, which CheckedSafe will then digitise.
Unlimited document storage is offered, either for vehicles/assets or users – including scheduling reminders and sign-off documents such as induction.
CheckedSafe supports unlimited users, and provides a full message service between the back office and app users, which can be utilised for briefings, toolbox talks etc. This feature proved very popular during lockdown, says the company, as it ensured clients were able to communicate with all their staff.
Meanwhile, a Documents-to-App service enables the customer to push documents to the user via the app, which can be used for functions such as certifications, dig-tickets, access documents, Covid-19 briefings and company handbooks.
A reminder service is available for any vehicle/asset-related function including servicing, PMI, maintenance, LOLER, MOTs and insurance. This will provide a weekly-to-do list to allow users to keep on top of the business’s entire compliance schedule.
CheckedSafe scrapes DVLA data for key V5 vehicle data, plus users can add their own data to this area without limits. Job cards can be created and pushed to anyone via the app – the user updates the system via the app – followed by app-based job collation for the workshop/mobile fitter etc.
Costs can be recorded to a vehicle and reports produced. A driver licence checking service, launched in December, is client-managed, so can be used to complete as many or as few checks as required.
Reports can be provided in Excel, PDF and CSV formats, and can be scheduled to drop regularly into users’ inboxes as required. Trend reports can provide information on areas such as most common defects, drivers failing to report defects, drivers with repeat defects for the same issues, and the time taken from defect report to repair/rectification.
The solution is fully cloud-based, so can be operated from anywhere provided an internet connection is available. All of the software is owned by CheckedSafe, avoiding the need to license elements from elsewhere. Third-party integration via open API is available.
CheckedSafe is a fully accredited and validated DVSA IT ER systems provider, and is endorsed by the Border Force.
