Peterson Europe upgrades RCV lighting range

Peterson Europe, well known for its LED lighting for refuse collection vehicles (RCVs), has introduced a new compact rear light cluster, incorporating all required functions with full ECE approval. They are now appearing on Terberg Environmental vehicles, from Dennis Eagle in the UK, Terberg Machines bin lifters in the Netherlands and Ros Roca in Spain.

“The new PM-3390A-R-C is a versatile and attractive rear light cluster and can be used to replace existing lighting across several applications, not just in refuse collection,” said Peterson Europe.

“The ECE approval allows it to be fitted either horizontally, or vertically, with a diffused taillight, reverse light and indicator, and brake light and fog light, with the added benefit of integral reflectors.”

As it is symmetrical, says the firm, there is no need for a left- or right-hand versions; it can simply be rotated 180 degrees for horizontal mounting, or fit left or right for vertical mounting.

The new PM-3390 will be appearing also on agricultural machines such as Chafer Crop Sprayers, and on a road-sweeper made in Germany. It is also said to be ideal for body builders where reuse of the original OE-supplied light that comes with the chassis cab either does not suit the style, or is impractical to use, due to the shape, or space, or even because it cannot be rotated to be used vertically as the ECE approval does not allow it.

“This light is so versatile, it is gaining a lot of interest from many OE vehicle manufacturers across Europe,” said Peterson Europe.
