Dinex: bringing OEM ambitions to aftermarket
Exhaust specialist Dinex has outlined its approach to OEM and aftermarket product development.
The company’s portfolio includes type approved DPFs, Euro 7 solutions and second-generation NOx sensors.
“As a trusted partner to global OEMs, we approach the aftermarket with the same innovative, benchmark-breaking and agile mindset that our customers at the assembly lines know us for,” said Kristian Kaufmann, group marketing and sustainability manager at Dinex.
“Back in 1982, all truck silencers were full-welded – until Dinex changed that. Our lock-seamed design raised the bar for durability and cost-efficiency, and it wasn’t made for an OEM; it was made for the aftermarket. That same mindset drives us today: challenging conventions and developing smarter, more efficient solutions, no matter who the customer is.”
Kristian continued: “From Euro 7 solutions to alternative fuels and hydrogen powertrains, and from advanced material technologies to continuously optimized Euro VI components, we keep pushing performance, durability, and cost-effectiveness forward. And every breakthrough we make is designed to benefit both OEMs and the aftermarket – not only during development, but long after serial production begins.
“Every OEM solution we develop adds to our understanding of design, materials, and performance – and those insights directly shape our aftermarket range. From optimised Euro VI silencers and enhanced catalytic DOCs and DPFs, to circular initiatives like our reconditioning program, we apply one mindset: make it easier to service, more efficient to produce, stronger in the field – and supportive of a cleaner, greener future.”
