CV Show 2026 – Duku EV: charging reel systems
The 2026 Commercial Vehicle Show will take place from 21-23 April at the NEC Birmingham.

Duku EV will showcase two charging reel systems designed to improve the safety and usability of commercial EV charging infrastructure.
Both systems automatically extend the charging cable at the push of a button, preventing damage to chargers, plugs and vehicles. Once charging is complete, they automatically retract the cable overhead, removing trip hazards in depot environments.
“The AC charging reel supports up to 22 kW charging and is suited to electric light commercial vehicles operating on predictable schedules, such as last-mile delivery vans, council fleets, Royal Mail, and NHS vehicles,” said Duku.
“The DC charging reel is meant for higher-power applications up to 80 kW, designed for heavier fleet operations including electric buses, refuse vehicles, and other commercial charging environments.”
