FridgeXpress rebrands as Northgate Temperature Controlled
Vehicle hire and fleet management giant Northgate Mobility has announced the rebranding of two businesses under its umbrella, in a move to unify brands which sees specialist provider of temperature-controlled vehicles, FridgeXpress, become Northgate Temperature Controlled.
With a fleet of over 800 specialist refrigerated vehicles, ranging from small vans to HGVs, Northgate Temperature Controlled offers short and long‑term rental designed to flex around seasonal peaks and operational demand across a range of sectors, including food and pharmaceuticals. Customers are said to benefit from responsive, high‑quality backup support that helps keep essential supply chains moving. It will continue to be led by Adam Naylor.
“As part of Northgate Mobility, customers gain access to the scale, reach and support of a wider mobility network, while retaining the specialist expertise they can rely on,” said the company.
Meanwhile Northgate Highways (formerly known as Blakedale), a traffic management specialist and the UK’s leading supplier of traffic management and support vehicles, will continue to be led by Jon Taylor.
Neil McCrossan, managing director at Northgate Mobility, said: “By aligning our businesses, systems, and brands under the Northgate Mobility umbrella, we are creating a more efficient, responsive, and connected organisation – making it easier for colleagues to collaborate, faster, and to serve customers even better whilst being clearer for stakeholders to understand who we are and how we create value.”
