RTX Scotland set for bigger 2026 event

RTX Scotland will be returning to Glasgow on 18-19 November with a significantly expanded event designed to help HGV operators, fleet engineers and workshop professionals navigate the challenges and opportunities facing the road transport sector.

Following a successful launch in 2025, the exhibition is set to double in size, offering more exhibitors and extended opening hours at the Scottish Event Campus (SEC).

Visitors will have the opportunity to explore the latest trucks, trailers, workshop equipment, maintenance solutions and fleet technologies from 80+ industry suppliers, while speaking directly with manufacturers and technical experts.

Major vehicle and body manufacturers already confirmed include DAF, MAN, Isuzu, Renault Trucks, Volvo, Thompsons and Terberg DTS. They will be joined by leading suppliers of tools, tyres, components and workshop equipment, including AES, Automint, Continental, Giti, Hankook, Kirkby, Michelin, Laser Tools, MAHA UK and Premier Pits.

“From new trucks and workshop equipment to compliance, maintenance and alternative fuels, RTX Scotland 2026 brings together the products, expertise and industry insight helping operators keep fleets safe, efficient and profitable,” said event organisers.

“With operators facing growing pressure to improve efficiency, reduce costs and meet evolving regulatory requirements, RTX Scotland offers a practical environment for evaluating products and services in real-world applications.

“Whether planning for electrification, exploring alternative fuels, improving workshop productivity or reducing vehicle downtime, visitors can compare solutions side by side and discuss their requirements with industry specialists.”

Highlights of this year’s event will include the free-to-attend Knowledge Zone conference programme. Bringing together operators, manufacturers, industry experts and policymakers, the sessions will examine topics including fleet maintenance, road safety, skills shortages, operational efficiency and the transition to lower-emission transport.

The conference programme’s second day will open with a keynote address from Scottish cabinet secretary for economy, tourism and transport, Stephen Flynn. Across both days, presentations, panel discussions and case studies will focus on practical challenges and opportunities, providing delegates with actionable ideas they can apply within their businesses.

Networking also remains a central part of the event, say show bosses, which will enable attendees to connect with fleet operators, transport managers, workshop professionals and suppliers from across Scotland.

“RTX Scotland provides valuable opportunities for operators to exchange experiences with peers, discuss common challenges and gain insight into areas such as maintenance planning, compliance, vehicle performance and fleet investment strategies.

“Enhanced hospitality and networking areas will support informal meetings and business discussions, helping visitors build new industry contacts and identify practical solutions to operational challenges.

“With a larger exhibition, comprehensive conference programme and strong line-up of exhibitors, RTX Scotland 2026 aims to provide a one-stop destination for transport professionals seeking the knowledge, products and connections needed to improve fleet and workshop performance.”

Attendance is free, and registration for tickets is now open at the RTX Scotland website.
