Ryme Worldwide launches new mobile brake tester
Workshop equipment provider Ryme Worldwide has announced the addition of the FRU-Mobile brake tester to its product lineup.
“When it comes to mobile brake testing, the biggest challenge has always been finding the right balance between build quality and manoeuvrability, and that’s exactly what we set out to achieve,” said Ryme.
The company cites several reasons why businesses may choose a mobile brake tester:
For example, those who don’t own the building they operate from may be unable to carry out the excavation required to install a fixed roller brake tester.
Water table issues can also make installation difficult, says the firm, as can limited workshop or yard space – while short-term maintenance contracts may require equipment that can move with you.
“A mobile option gives you the flexibility to pack the unit away when not in use, or even transport it between multiple sites – giving you complete control,” said Ryme.
“With the FRU-Mobile, we’ve built a machine that adapts to the user’s needs without compromising on strength or quality.
“Depending on the model, the range can test between 20 and 26 tonnes per axle, making it suitable not only for the usual HGVs and PSVs found in commercial workshops and VMUs, but also road-going cranes and specialist vehicles.
“Whatever your reason for going mobile, we’ve designed a solution that delivers performance, durability and flexibility in one package.
“For more information, get in touch – we’d be happy to talk you through the options.”
