CV Show 2017: Continental in new tacho debut

Continental Automotive will be showcasing a number of new products at the CV Show this year.

These will include the UK debut of the VDO Digital Tachograph 3.0 – the company’s new generation tachograph that will become the precursor to the smart tachograph in 2019, with improved functionality and increased app integration.

Also on display will be VDO Fleet Visor – a vehicle tracking, tracing and route planning system.

Meanwhile, VDO TIS-Web 4.8 and VDO TIS-Web Motion will drive greater connectivity between the commercial vehicle, driver and the fleet manager, says Continental – making tachograph legislation easier and quicker to adhere to than in previous years thanks to simple backend office solutions, and smartphone connectivity to the tachograph feeding data through the system.
