CV Show 2017: SmartWitness to debut new dashcam

SmartWitness will use the CV Show to launch its new KP2 dashcam, offering Bluetooth, 3G/4G and WiFi connectivity.

On board storage and easy expansion with up to 16 cameras, plus integration with OBDC and CANbus systems, are also featured, says the company.

“KP2 finally brings professional grade telematics out of the shadows,” said SmartWitness.

“Combining a 5mP, low light camera with built in GPS, accelerometer and 3G/4G technology delivers a must-have solution for telematics providers.

“The KP2, allied with the SmartAPI Device Management Portal, sets the benchmark for simple provisioning, system integration, future upgrades and ongoing device management.

“SmartAPI also makes it simple to switch telematics providers or to grant multiple platforms/stakeholders access to your KP2s.”
