CV Show 2017: Dometic to exhibit split parking cooler

This year at the CV Show, Dometic will be promoting its CoolAir SP 950 product, designed for trucks where installing a roof parking cooler is impossible due to a tall cabin, high roof slope or existing roof-mounted structure.

With this system, the compressor unit and the evaporator unit are fitted separately: the compressor unit always to the outside of the cabin rear wall, and the evaporator unit on the roof or to the inner side of the cabin rear wall, depending on the type of vehicle.

At the core of each CoolAir split air conditioner is a compact compressor unit, said to provide impressive cooling performance, additional air dehumidification, low maintenance and a hermetically sealed refrigeration circuit.
