CV Show 2017: Bowmonk to display portable brake tester

Bowmonk Tapley will use this year’s Show to demonstrate its BrakeCheck DVSA-approved portable brake tester for recording and printing brake test results, as well as SensorCheck, for diagnosing ABS-related faults, and TrailerCheck which allows single-man testing of trailer lighting, ABS circuitry and CAN activity.

Also on display will be the T5 Event Data Recorder with built-in accelerometer, GPS, digital inputs and connection to the CAN-bus, which records a range of information and uploads to the cloud. The Intelligo reporting system then allows managers to view T5 data reports from across the fleet.

Visitors can also see a live demo of the firm’s on-board weighing system, its landing leg range, and a selection of fanless in-vehicle computers from the In-CarPC division.
