RVS supplies remanufactured refuse truck for Ace Liftaway

aceliftawayRomsey-based waste management specialist Ace Liftaway has recently invested in a remanufactured refuse vehicle from Refuse Vehicle Solutions Ltd (RVS).

The vehicle, a 26 tonne RCV, is the company’s largest to date and is set to pave the way for further expansion for Ace. The operator provided a brand new DAF chassis to which RVS fitted a remanufactured Phoenix 2 body and remanufactured Beta 2 Trade bin lift.

Philip Liddell, managing director at Ace Liftaway, said: “RVS came recommended and I can understand why.  The vehicle is immaculate and the service has been superb. I wouldn’t hesitate to go back again when we need another vehicle.”

Established more than 25 years ago with one mini-truck and eight skips, Ace Liftaway now has over 1,500 skips on hire throughout south Hampshire, and recycles and processes around 90 per cent of all materials at its own waste recycling facility.

Philip Liddell added: “We look after our customers and we look after our staff. We invest in training and maintaining a high level of customer service.”

RVS specialises in revitalising second hand dust-carts, stripping them down and replacing or repairing worn and defective parts. It claims to provide high quality ‘as-new’ vehicles at a fraction of the expense of a new vehicle. Additional services include vehicle financing, low-loader delivery and an extensive spare parts service specialising in second-hand and reconditioned components.
