has outlined the advantages of its Lee Lock product, which can be used to secure pallet trucks in transit within HGV trailers.
The pallet truck retainer system is said to protect cargo against damage during transit, as well as combating the risk of damage to side curtains. The T-bar handle is used to secure the pallet truck under the floor-mounted plates.
“This simple, intuitive product quickly and neatly secures the Pallet Truck, securing the truck in place, preventing any of the above damage scenarios, and securing the trailer’s load,” said aide automotive.
“Lee Lock is designed to lock the pallet truck in place at all times, hence reducing any chance of the truck slamming into other pallets, slashing the curtain side, and as the pallet truck slots into the lock, there’s no chance of any back injury from lifting.

For a small investment in the Lee Lock, a transport company will reduce repair costs and insurance claims on damaged goods, says aide, as well as potentially avoiding driver injuries and consequent absence from work.
An opportune time to have the Lee Lock fitted to a trailer is within production, says aide; however, the Lee Lock can also be easily retrofitted to any trailer.
UK trailer manufacturers Don-Bur, Lawrence David and Montracon are suppliers of the Lee Lock, while companies such as Alloy Bodies of Manchester and TWR Commercial Bodies Ltd provide the option of adding a Lee Lock to a trailer build.
