CV Show 2021 – DKV Euro Service: tolling solutions

The 2021 Commercial Vehicle Show will take place at the NEC Birmingham from 31 August to 2 September.
Among the solutions being promoted at the CV Show by mobility service provider DKV this year is the DKV Box Europe, which has now been approved for toll payment on Italian freeways for trucks and buses exceeding 3.5 tons, following a successful pilot.
The Italian toll system of the Italian freeway operators’ association, AISCAT, covers approximately 6,600 km of freeways.
In addition to Italy, DKV Box Europe is also widely used for truck tolls in Germany, Belgium, Bulgaria, France, Austria, Spain, Portugal, Hungary, as well as the Warnow crossing, the Herren Tunnel and the Liefkenshoektunnel – thus covering twelve European toll systems.
In the near future, says DKV, the system will also be implemented in Switzerland and other European countries.
