CV Show 2021 – Alcolock UK: alcohol breath testers

The 2021 Commercial Vehicle Show will take place at the NEC Birmingham from 31 August to 2 September.
As the UK division of Canada-based Alcohol Countermeasure Systems (ACS), Alcolock UK will be at this year’s Show to promote its breath alcohol tester range, including the Alcolock V3 Ignition Interlock which is used extensively within the transport sector.
Once installed, the Alcolock V3 requires the operator to blow into a mouthpiece on the handset. A breath sample is collected and analysed for alcohol content using an advanced electrochemical sensor. If the breath alcohol concentration exceeds the predetermined limit, the vehicle will not start.
Alcolock UK also markets ACS’s full range of handheld portable breath alcohol testers such as the Drivesafe and Alert J5 with or without printer, the Drivesafe express single-use breath tester, and saliva drug testers
