CV Show 2021 – VPG Onboard Weighing: software launch

The 2021 Commercial Vehicle Show will take place at the NEC Birmingham from 31 August to 2 September.
VPG Onboard Weighing will be using the event to promote a new software solution called VPG Connect.
“VPG Connect provides users with the ability to report on tipper activity for every weighing and tipping event, along with overload alerts and a drivers’ app to help them stay compliant when loading,” said the company.
“In addition, the Driver Behaviour Management functionality available helps our customers to significantly reduce fuel bills, accident rates and vehicle wear and tear.
“The web-based solution can also be integrated with both a connected camera solution and/or the vehicle’s tachograph to allow for the transmission of both live and historic tachograph data or camera footage.”
