Fassi adds to medium duty crane range

Loader crane provider Fassi has announced the addition of three new models to its medium duty range, following an intensive design phase: the F175A.1 e-dynamic, F185A.1 e-dynamic, and F195A.1 e-dynamic.

“The aim was to develop an extremely compact crane with a much reduced dead weight, with a linkage system on the outer boom,” explained Fassi.

This, the company says, is designed to offer maximum benefits while working with a clamshell bucket, which requires intensive use of the outer boom.

In addition to the structural features, Fassi also paid attention during the design phase to the ergonomics of the controls and the use of carters on components to make crane use easier, as well as improved placement of hydraulic and electric systems.

The end result are cranes which weigh 10-25 per cent less than similar models, but offer best-in-class lifting capacities and a much lower installation space. These new products forge the way for the future development of Fassi’s medium duty crane range.”

Fassi also reports that the state of the market is “extremely strong with high levels of demand”; however, this is being tempered by the challenges facing the global supply chain, particularly the extended lead time for trucks.
