Logistics UK launches new tacho software features

Logistics UK has announced two upgrades to its tachograph services offering.

Commercial director Jerry Kane explained: “Logistics UK’s cloud-based tachograph analysis software, powered by the Vision compliance platform, allows users to access, analyse and process driver data securely and with great flexibility and speed.

“A new feature has been added to the platform – Microtraining – which lets its users share bite-size videos with their drivers. These videos explain drivers’ hours, working time, and record-keeping rules; following an infringement or fault that a company’s driver may have incurred, users can simply debrief the driver and then select one of the videos that they want the driver to view.

“Once the driver confirms they have viewed the training video, a notification will be displayed on their debrief report and managers will see this on the debrief management report; the information will also be displayed on the drivers’ training profile.”

This new feature simplifies the driver debrief process, says Jerry, ensuring drivers have easy access to the information they need to make more informed future choices.

Logistics UK has also launched Self Admin: a new software package that puts the user in charge of their own Vision account.

“The software enables customers to update the tachograph settings for their account directly, add new tachograph locations and apply tachograph settings, and add, update, and delete users,” Jerry continued.

“This provides customers with greater control over their platform, once again, making the system as easy as possible to operate.

“Logistics UK’s tachograph services provide customers with a complete bespoke solution to support them in managing and improving their compliance with drivers’ hours and tachograph regulations, offering tailored solutions to suit company size, operational processes and individual needs.”
