CV Show 2022 – BPW: trailer technology

This year’s Commercial Vehicle Show will take place at Birmingham’s NEC from 24-26 May.

Stand: 5D80

BPW is returning to the NEC this year with ePower (pictured) – a new axle that recovers energy when the trailer is moving, enabling a carbon-neutral, quiet and independent supply of power to refrigeration units for temperature-controlled transport.

Meanwhile the Airlight II range continues to grow, and ALII-R signals the successful switch from square to round-axle beams, says the company – delivering unparalleled performance for trailers nine to twelve tonnes.

BPW’s electro-hydraulic auxiliary system Active Reverse Control is designed to support steering functionality for trailers working in tight spaces, increasing the agility and manoeuvrability of the vehicle.

BPW will also promote the AirSave tyre pressure control system, which permanently monitors tyre pressure and starts to inflate at a deviation of 0.2 bar.
