CV Show 2015: vehicle journey recorder sales ‘exceed 1m’, says SmartWitness

Sales of vehicle journey recorders in the UK are set to exceed one million for the first time, according to new figures released by SmartWitness ahead of the Commercial Vehicle Show.
The SmartWitness team will be showcasing three products at the NEC – the KP1 3G/4G instant video transmission camera; the SVC100GPS, said to be one of the best selling journey recorders in the world; and the SVC1080LCA – a new version of the best-seller.
SmartWitness has also developed new partnerships with telematic firms Navman Wireless and TomTom Telematics. Its products now integrate seamlessly with these telematics systems to combine SmartWitness picture quality with live telematics data so that fleet managers’ needs can be met simultaneously, the firm says.
