CV Show 2015: Continental Automotive launches new VDO tacho technology

At this year’s Show, Continental Automotive’s VDO team will be showcasing the new features and benefits of its latest version digital tachograph, the DTCO 2.2, at its first UK event.
The company will also promote a variety of methods of downloading tachograph data via its TIS-Web platform – including its latest addition, the TIS-Connect interface – and associated tools for drivers, managers and workshops.
VDO will launch the new DLD Short Range II downloading device, which can collect and record GPS positions with the addition of an antenna.
The team will also be explaining how the ContiPressureCheck tyre pressure monitoring system from Continental Tyres ‘talks’ to TIS-Web – and displaying its new ProViu Mirror forward-facing camera system, an alternative to exterior mirrors.
