The Commercial Vehicle Show takes place from 18-20 April at the NEC Birmingham.
GYS, the manufacturer of welding machines, car-body repair equipment, battery chargers and induction heaters, will be hosting live demonstrations of its Powerduction induction heater technology. With no gas or flame involved, it can reduce a workshop’s insurance premiums by up to 30 per cent, says the firm.
The GYS induction range can heat a metal’s core in only a fraction of a second. Ideal for releasing seized wheel nuts, bolts and stuck metallic components, it can also reshape metal parts, straighten bent chassis and pre-heat metal pipes prior to welding.
Also on display at the GYS stand will be the new Startflash, an invertor starter, charger and battery support unit; and the new Kronos range of MIG welding machines.
