Fastview360 cameras keep fleets safe
Fastview360 has outlined the advantages of its safety camera systems, which it says are benefiting thousands of drivers around the UK through reduced road risk, as well as providing fleets with video evidence where required for purposes such as insurance.
“The system is designed to assist your drivers, help to improve visibility around your vehicle, and save valuable fleet office time,” said the company.
99.6 per cent of remote footage requests are retrieved first time, says Fastview360. The footage is used for insurance purposes – on its online platform AutoCMS – as well as for internal driver training, police investigations and fleet compliance audits.
“Up to eight cameras are available on any single system, creating a full 360° view around your vehicle,” the firm continued.
“1080P HD quality gives you clarity for any video evidence you may need. All cameras operate in low light and night mode with enhancing technologies to give the best available quality.
“In-cab monitors fed from these cameras provide extra vision that isn’t directly available from the driver’s seat or the mirrors. They can be individual or split screen views depending on the manoeuvre being made.

Fastview360 highlights the recent launch of National Highways’ new campaign ‘Know the Zones’, which is encouraging road users to be aware of the limited vision around HGVs.
