VTT keeps transporter fleets up to speed
Vehicle transporter training provider VTT reports that it is continuing to support the vehicle logistics industry with a recently released Code of Practice, produced at the request of HSE and DVSA.
“The Code of Practice gives guidance and clarification on operating procedures and best practice for operators and drivers alike,” said VTT.
“This can be found on the Driving for Better Business website.”
As a result of VTT’s role in writing the guidance, the company has also developed a Code of Practice CPC course, in both one-to-one and group course formats. Both courses contain classroom legal compliance and guidance modules, and practical modules completed around the transporter.
VTT’s programmes also include a Driver Trainer course, which ensures that driver trainers receive up-to-date information and safe loading guidance, as well as practical skills in training and mentoring. It is accredited by CILT as a recognised certificate in training.
The company additionally offers a VTT Certified course, which provides an annual assessment of an operator’s drivers to ensure all standards are maintained.
VTT’s clients include Recycling Lives Ltd.
