Cubo aids compliance with City Smart Pro
Launched at the CV Show this year, Cubo’s City Smart Pro meets Transport for London’s Direct Vision Standard requirements for a Progressive Safe System.
“City Smart Pro is specifically designed to facilitate the drivers work and the detection area can be as wide as the customer requires,” said Cubo.
“For urban settings where vehicles are likely to be driving at speeds under 20mph, AI technology identifies vulnerable road users located in hazardous areas and alerts the driver with both audio and real-time video. Similarly, if the vehicle is about to turn left audio warnings are played. When the vehicle exceeds 20mph, the system recognises vehicles in hazardous areas.”
The system features a compact AI control module with two HD camera inputs, dynamic people and vehicle detection, event and alert recording, internal driver alerts, external pedestrian warning and left turn alert, and auto daylight saving time setting.
Late night external speaker mute functionality and daytime noise pollution prevention are also included, and the system integrates with Cubo tracking and DVR systems.
