aide automotive’s product range for the transport sector includes a catalytic converter anti-theft alarm.
With thefts of catalytic converters reportedly on the rise in recent years, the company says its Cat Shark solution works on all vehicles, and is fine-tuned to specifically respond to this type of threat, providing instant protection with a 110-decibel alarm if the exhaust is tampered with.
“Don’t become another victim,” warned aide automotive.
“Thieves can remove your catalytic converter in under a minute and with replacement costs running into the thousands, protection is a must… Simply attach the alarm at any convenient location close to the exhaust.”
The alarm is battery-powered and includes a remote fob for activation.
