Wheel alignment specialist Supertracker has launched its next-generation CCD system at Automechanika UK 2025.

At Straightset’s stand X78 in Hall 18 until tomorrow (5 June), the new STR130 TC and STR420 TC offer a 6 and 8 sensor CCD wheel alignment system controlled via a WindowsTab, stored on a manoeuvrable storage solution.

“This launch is all about listening to our customers and delivering a smarter, faster and more flexible alignment solution tailored for the modern workshop,” said Andrew Bates, managing director of Straightset.

“By reducing the footprint of the system and integrating a handheld tablet for readings right at the vehicle, we’re offering a space-saving and convenient option, without compromising on accuracy or performance.”

Available with 6 or 8 sensor technology, the system is said to ensure precise, reliable alignment for a wide range of vehicles.

Key cited benefits include a robust WindowsTab tablet with magnetic case, which securely mounts to lifts for instant data access under the vehicle; and a compact, cabinet-free design which reduces workshop floor footprint while improving mobility.

New, larger hangers are capable of handling rim sizes up to 27” as standard, while the signature Supertracker ‘hang on’ system is said to provide safe, effective alignment with no risk of rim damage.

Live demonstrations and exclusive pre-order opportunities are available on the Straightset Automechanika stand (X78, Hall 18).

“CCD equipment offers a straightforward solution to wheel alignment that includes vehicle database, simple Bluetooth connectivity and before-and-after customer printouts,” Andrew Bates continued.

“However, traditionally, these popular systems are housed in a cabinet, which takes up valuable floor space due to the static PCs and printers.

“Our innovation, backed by strategic investment in new product development, delivers space-saving, convenient solution for modern workshops, without compromising on precision or performance.”
