Diagnostics specialist WabcoWürth Workshop Services GmbH’s product portfolio includes the new W.Easy Connect – a compact, multifunctional tool said to enable easy and secure connection to modern commercial vehicles from different manufacturers.

“This forward-looking device is at the heart of WabcoWürth W.Easy multi-brand diagnostics, offering not only seamless software connectivity but also a range of practical features for everyday workshop use,” said the company.

“When it comes to connectivity, the device is a 3-in-1 solution offering Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v.4.2 and USB-C connection options.

“With a multi-coloured 360° LED ring, users receive instant visual feedback on the communication status. The meaning of the status colours can be easily understood via icons on the back of the device.

“The OBD connector with LED light is also extremely practical: The 2.90 m cable offers great flexibility and the integrated light makes it easier to locate the vehicle’s OBD port.”

The compact casing, no larger than a wallet, maintains a firm grip in various diagnostic situations thanks to its non-slip surface design, says WabcoWürth: “Its robust construction makes the W.Easy Connect ideal for sustainable, long-term workshop use.”

Equipped with DoIP and CAN FD, the diagnostic device is ready for future adapterless communication protocols. Electric and hybrid commercial vehicles are already included in the diagnostic scope with vehicle coverage continuously expanding.

The exclusive ZF [pro]Diagnostics also contributes to integration, the company adds, supporting commercial vehicle workshops with new connection options.

“Only the W.Easy concept integrates original Wabco system diagnostics and original Haldex trailer diagnostics – enabling not only the Pass Thru J2534 interface, but also uncomplicated use of OE software like VW or Mercedes without the use of separate hardware. An integrated flight recorder can also be activated at the touch of a button for enhanced fault diagnosis.”
