RTX 2026 – Fontaine: fifth wheel, landing gear

Fontaine Fifth Wheel Europe will showcase its 3000FFH dual height air operated fifth wheel, designed to give operators enhanced flexibility through adjustable coupling height, allowing compatibility with a wide range of trailer configurations. The air operated system reduces the need for manual intervention, says Fontaine, supporting safer working practices.
Also featured will be the 150SP2 fifth wheel mounted on 230mm feet and fitted with Fontaine’s Green Eye safety system, on an air-operated slider configuration. The 150SP2 itself is a mechanical fifth wheel, with the Green Eye providing a clear visual indication of correct coupling engagement.
Completing the display will be the landing leg 20008884 with integrated compensator. The heavy-duty landing leg is engineered to improve stability during coupling and uncoupling.
