Nationwide Kirkby Tyres Assist service unveiled at RTX
Kirkby Tyres was among the exhibitors at Road Transport Expo 2026 at NAEC Stoneleigh in June and July, where it launched its new nationwide fleet service, Kirkby Tyres Assist, in addition to showcasing its latest Sailun-brand TBR tyre range.

As commercial fleets continue to face increasing pressure to reduce operating costs, improve efficiency and meet sustainability targets, Kirkby Tyres also used RTX to explain how Sailun’s latest truck tyre technology is helping operators meet these challenges head on.
Visitors to the company’s larger 11m x 10m stand were able to explore an extensive range of Sailun tyres, including the latest EcoPoint3 products and recently expanded Gen-1 and Gen-2 TBR ranges.
A sample selection of 13 tyres from Sailun’s TBR portfolio was on display, including two of the most recently introduced products to the UK market: the Ecomax Pro Series and the Terra Pro Series.
“Whilst both these new products have been designed to deliver improved performance and reduce overall operating costs for fleets, they are aimed at two clearly different vehicle applications,” said Kirkby Tyres.
“The Ecomax Pro Series boasts Sailun’s new EcoPoint3 compound technology and offers A-rated rolling resistance in the key road haulage sizes, 315/70R22.5, 315/80R22.5 and 385/65R22.5. This product is ideal for fleets looking to improve fuel efficiency operating primarily on highways. Utilising its ground-breaking EcoPoint3 compound, Sailun continues to improve product efficiency and performance without sacrificing durability.
“The Terra Pro Series is aimed specifically at mixed service applications, providing an ideal solution for fleets seeking a robust tyre without compromising mileage performance. Offering high damage resistance due to its reinforced tread compound, this new product is also designed to control heat generation, further improving tyre life. The Terra Pro Series delivers enhanced traction on loose or uneven surfaces with self-cleaning properties that effectively help to reduce vehicle downtime.”
