Istobal unveils CV pay-per-wash plan
Washing equipment provider Istobal UK has launched an all-inclusive rental solution to cater for commercial vehicle washing needs, through a pay-per-wash formula which it says enables fleet cleaning with zero capital outlay.
The objective, says the company, is to make it easier for fleets to clean vehicles without large initial investments, thereby saving management time, and providing the peace of mind of having everything included in a single bill to maximise profitability.
The formula includes the lease of the Istobal HW’Progress rollover wash, in addition to the Istobal esens chemical product, technical assistance, and Smartwash Fleets, a digital platform which automates and monitors the washing process.
Istobal HW’Progress is said to offer a flexible CV cleaning solution, adapting to the needs of each type of fleet – from vans, trailers, buses, tankers or garbage trucks, to other vehicles with special characteristics.
“This versatile, state-of-the-art, high-performance equipment also includes a wide variety of options to achieve a perfect finish, such as high top and side pressure, chemical pre-washes, under chassis washing and a disinfection program as a final complement to the washing program,” said the company.
Meanwhile, the Smartwash Fleets digital platform enables users to manage vehicle washing in an intelligent, digital, easy and convenient way from any device, claims Istobal.
“This technology provides greater control of the washing, as it allows all kinds of data to be known in real time, such as the number of vehicles washed, frequency and washing program, as well as technical data on the state of the machinery and consumables, with just one click,” said the firm.
“Its advanced remote-control software system allows the Istobal Technical Service to resolve incidents remotely to guarantee maximum operational availability of the equipment. Another of its great advantages is that it provides faster cleaning of the fleet and optimises the washing process.”
With the rental formula, Istobal also enables all products and services to be included in a single invoice.
“This allows industrial vehicle fleet operators can know the expense per wash in advance, and even anticipate and project the expense in their annual budget,” the company added.
“The inclusion of the preventive, corrective and remote maintenance service, as well as the Istobal esens chemical products in this formula, avoids unforeseen expenses for repairs, since parts and labour are included, and it saves on the management of the purchase of chemical products.”
