IMS offers SAF brake shoe reline kits
Trailer systems specialist IMS has launched a series of brake shoe reline kits for SAF axles.
“With growing demand for the tried and tested Intradrum from our SAF Fleet customers and SAF parts distributors, we’ve put together a genuine SAF axle brake shoe reline kit to make relines as simple and efficient as possible,” said the company.
“Our SAF reline kit is a direct OE replacement and ensures maximum efficiency and safety from SAF OE original parts, retaining that class-leading braking performance that is required in the modern transport industry.”
The range includes brake shoe kits for the for the S9-4218 Axle which has 420 x 180 brake shoes, known as SJ28/29 shoes. It comprises four lined shoes (including rollers), with no surcharge, and fully relineable metalwork, as well as two return springs and two spring clamps.
Similar kits are available for the low-loader axle Z9 / Z11 range that takes the 300 x 200 brake shoes, known as SJ22/23 shoes; and for the S9-3718 axle which has 367 x 180 brake shoes, known as SJ32/33 shoes.
Meanwhile, the company has also introduced brake pads for the new SBS2220H01 22.5″ disc brake, which come complete with a new optimised retaining bracket.
IMS also now supplies ‘01’ versions of the three most popular SAF pads, which are said to offer OE quality at an aftermarket price.
