Direct Vision benefits from Astra ClearView
Vehicle technology provider Astra has highlighted how its ClearView additional low level window products can benefit vehicles’ star rating under the Direct Vision Standard (DVS).
“Astra’s CLOCS and FORS approved ClearView products maintain the operational functionality of the original passenger door window, but in addition to a fully functional passenger door window it now also incorporates special features for use in high dust environments as standard and is proving a very popular installation with fleet operators around the UK,” said the company.
“Following on from the successful launch of the DVS-approved ClearView product for the Mercedes-Benz range, Astra have worked closely with engineers at MAN and Iveco to design a ClearView product to suit their new range of vehicles.
“This collaboration optimises the viewing angle and maximises the amount of vision available to the driver thus meeting the DVS requirements for an additional star rating.”
