Dometic delivers comfort boost with DPSI Inverters
Dometic has outlined the benefits of its DPSI Inverters, which can convert a truck’s 24V DC battery power into 230V AC electricity, allowing drivers to use many of the same appliances and devices they rely on at home while on the road.”
“For today’s professional drivers, the truck is much more than a vehicle,” said Dometic.
“It is an office, a dining area and, during rest periods, a home away from home. Whether preparing a hot meal, making coffee, watching television, working on a laptop or charging essential devices, reliable onboard power has become an important part of daily life.
“Dometic DPSI Inverters provide dependable power for a wide range of cabin equipment, from kettles, coffee machines and microwave ovens to laptops, tablets, televisions and battery chargers. Featuring pure sine wave output, they deliver power equivalent to the electricity available at home, ensuring smooth operation of both everyday appliances and sensitive electronic devices.”
Designed for 24 V vehicle systems and available in versions up to 2000 W, Dometic DPSI Inverters are said to offer the ideal solution for commercial vehicle applications.
“Thanks to their compact, low-profile design, the units require minimal installation space and fit easily into modern truck cabins,” said Dometic.
“For added convenience, all Dometic DPSI Inverters are supplied with a remote control, allowing drivers to switch the inverter on or off from an easily accessible location without having to reach the installation area.
“Selected Dometic DPSI Inverters are also available with an integrated RCD (Residual Current Device). Unlike solutions that require additional external protection devices, the integrated RCD is built directly into the inverter, simplifying installation and reducing wiring complexity. It also provides additional protection when using 230 V appliances in and around the vehicle, helping to increase electrical safety while reducing the number of components required for the installation.
“Whether taking a short break at a service area or spending the night on the road, Dometic DPSI Inverters provide the power needed to enjoy greater convenience, productivity and comfort throughout every journey.”
